The Washington County Chamber of Commerce is a great place to be a member. The average cost of a membership for a small business is $200.00 per year. The full rate sheet can be downloaded from the Chamber Dues Sheet to the right.

We now have the latest edition of the Images magazine that showcases the Washington County area. Each month the Chamber hosts a "Third Thursday" breakfast. The meetings begin at 7:30 a. m. and end by 8:45. There is a guest speaker who provides pertinent information to the business community and there are always networking opportunities.

In September 2018, the 26th session of our Leadership Washington County program will begin. The mission of this program is to challenge individuals to become actively involved in community affairs and to provide the necessary background to enhance their leadership abilities. Dr. Brian Douts has been with Chiropractic First of Abingdon Va since May of 2017. Dr. Brian graduated with honors from Life University with a doctorate of chiropractic degree. He practices tonal based chiropractic and is advanced certified in Torque Release Technique. This technique is based on reducing tension on the nervous system that is caused by stress. Dr. Brian has been awarded a Fellow of Holder Research Institute for his work with Torque Release Technique. His case study, Improved Thyroid Function Following Chiropractic Care to Reduce Vertebral Subluxation, was published in the professional journal, Annals of Vertebral Subluxation Research, Volume 2018. He and his wife Athena are excited to bring their message of healing and health to Abingdon and the surrounding communities.
