Leadership Washington County
The mission of this program is to challenge individuals to become actively involved in community affairs and to provide the necessary background to enhance their leadership abilities. Leadership Washington County is a non-advocacy, non-partisan group.
Leadership Washington County has the following objectives:
- To unite individuals of diverse backgrounds and experiences, who have demonstrated an interest, talent, and commitment to leadership.
- To educate participants about the dynamics of social, economic and political institutions and resources in our area.
- To offer an opportunity for participants to establish a lifelong networking system within the community.
- To increase participation in community service and develop a vision for Washington County among participants.
The Washington County Chamber of Commerce is proud to sponsor the 28th Leadership Washington County program for 2021-2022.
Leadership Washington County consists of 8 sessions of one-day duration located within Washington County. The programs are scheduled every month beginning with Orientation on September 21st and ending with Graduation May 17th.
Members of the Class of 2021-22 will explore the diverse fabric of Washington County through site visits, presentations by highly skilled and motivated leaders, local networking, hands on participation and group discussion.
